Revelation 13:7
"and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."

The next thing that the Lord tells us is that he has given Satan control over all the different races, all the languages and all the worlds countries. In other words he will control the whole earth. There will be no place to go, that he does not control. There is no language you can speak that he will not understand. There is no "race" that will not be out of his reach. So you either go along with Satan and his system or you follow the Word of God and do what the Word tells you to do.

Revelation 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The Lord tells us that everyone on earth will worship Satan, except those that have their name already written in the book of life.
When did these people get their names written in the book of life? This verse tells us in the greek. In the english it is not as clear. The word "foundation" is a very interesting word in the greek. If you do not understand it, then this verse will not be completely understood.

The word "foundation" comes from two greek words. One means "to throw", the other means "down". 2598 kataballo (kat-ab-al'-lo);

This word is talking about when Satan turned bad, he was not created bad. Satan used to be The Lord's arch angel and he turned against the Lord and took many of The Lord's "children" with him
(Isa 14 and Eze 28)

Isa 14:12-14
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Ezek 28:13-19
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

If you read all the places where the Lord is talking about this, then alot of things will make sense. The word does not mean when God created the earth, the word means when God overthrew the earth and punished it, because the children followed Satan.
There were children who did not follow Satan at that time and those are the children whose names are written in the book of life from the "overthrow of the earth".

That is why there is predestination as Paul wrote in Ephesians and the Romans. Peter wrote in 1 Peter. The Lord spoke to Jerimiah and the reason the Lord hated Esau and loved Jacob before either one had been born in the flesh.
Eph 1:4-5
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

1 Pet 1:20
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Rom 9:11-13
11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

The next verses are the verses that tell you about things that have happened since the overthrow of Satan.

Matt 13:35
35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Matt 25:34
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Luke 11:50
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

John 17:24
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Rev 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

There are people that have been and will be redeemed from this earth age of flesh as it is written.
Rev 14:3-4
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Do not listen to me or to any other human, listen to the Word of God. This is written to those that have their spiritual ears opened by the Lord. That is what Jesus is saying in the next verse in Revelation.

Revelation 13:9

"If any man have an ear, let him hear."

Do you have your spiritual ears open? If not do not worry about it, The Lord is protecting you. One day you will understand.
