Revelation 16:3
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man:
and every living soul died in the sea.

The second thing that happened was to the sea, any living person died that was connected to the sea. This means spiritually dead.

If we look at the trumpets you will see that at the second trumpet the same kind of thing was mentioned. Revelation 8:8 and the second trumpet sounded...

Revelation 16:4
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

The third thing that happened effected the rivers and the fountains of water(which is the source), and they became alive with man's knowledge, but spiritually dead.


Let us look at Rev 8:10-11, this talks about the third thing. The third thing that happened was a supernatural Angel fell from heaven, it appeared to be a light burning(false light). It fell upon the third of the rivers and upon the fountain of water (the source of where people get spiritually fed); And the name of it was bitter: and a third of the waters became bitter and many people spiritually died, because of the source of their spiritual food, it became bitter and poisoned with the lies of this supernatural Angel.

Revelation 16:5
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

The angel of the water said they deserve what they are getting.

Revelation 16:6
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

For they have spiritually killed saints and prophets, so they are to drink what they dished out to tohers, because they deserve it.

Revelation 16:7
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

Another angel said from the altar, even so, Lord God almoghty. Your judgements are true and righteous.

In other words, what the Lord is allowing to happen on earth, is the right thing to do.

Revelation 16:8
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

The fourth thing that happened effected the true light, and power was given to burn people with the fire of Satan's lies.

As you can see this is all done spiritually, not to the flesh. Satan wants our souls not our flesh bodies. He is the Father of deception.

Revelation 16:9
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

And the people of the earth believed Satan's lies and they were burned up spiritually. Because of this they talked against God, by what they were saying and believing. God was the one that allowed Satan and his angels to come down to earth and to spiritually kill people.

You have to understand the people of the earth will believe that they are following God and doing what God wants. They have been blinded by God for their protection.

II Th 2:11
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Revelation 8:12 talks about this fourth thing. The trumpets and the vials are talking about the same punishments or testing or temptations or tribulation, which ever way you want to look at it.

Revelation 16:10
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

And the fifth thing that happened was to the power of the beast and his followers, they were in total darkness. They worked thier tongues over time.

Revelation 16:11
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

And they were blaspheming God of heaven, because of the things they were doing and they were spiritual sick. They would not repent of their works for Satan.

In His Service
