From this point on in this chapter, we have to remember where we were before the angel showed us the "whore", in order to understand when things will happen.

Most people believe that the next verse is a continuation, but it is not. Let us go back to what was happening before, we were taken on a side trip, and everything will fit into place, instead of being confusing.

These are the verses just before the angel told us about the "whore."

Rev 16:17-21
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

We had been brought up to the time of the seventh vial, and we were told that everything was done that was suppose to be done. Now do not forget, the vials, seals and trumps all happen at the same time, it is just different perspectives, the Father is showing us a whole picture.

So that means that this is also the seventh trump, it is important to understand that.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

At the seventh vial and at the seven trump there will be a great commotion happening on this earth. The world system is going to be totally shaken up.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

The Father had had enough from Satan and his followers, it was time for them to be held accountable for what they had done to the people of the earth. The world system will be broken up. The Lord is very angry at them.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Remember island and mountain in the Word, means the power structure of the government. That world system's power will be taken away, and it will not come back again. Jesus will be King of king and Lord of lords at this time.

21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

The people of the earth will feel the pressure of the Lord, because they will know they lost their power.

The Lord tells us in his Word what this hail will do as it is written.

Isa 28:17-18
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

The hail will destroy the lies of Satan's system, so all his power will be destroyed. Everything will be out in the open, no more deception.

Now that is where we left off, and then the angel took us on a side trip. Now let us see what happens next at this time.

Revelation 19:11
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

John sees heaven opened and out of heaven comes another white horse. The Father then tells us that this rider can be trusted, and is the True Savior of the World. And under his reign he will separate and battle the correct way. The way that is written in the Word of God.

There is another thing about this verse that is very interesting. It says heaven is opened at this time, so that tells us that while Satan has control of this earth, no one will leave or enter heaven. This means no birth or death, that is why it is written that people will want to die, but will be unable to.

The Father is going to give us a great picture of what Jesus will do when he returns.

Revelation 19:12
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

he will be able to see right through you or anyone. He will have the highest rank, he is King of kings and Lord of lords. He has a name written on him.

Revelation 19:13
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:

He has destroyed all the flesh and he is out for vengeance, for what has happened to the people of the earth, as it is written.

Ps 58:10-11
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

Isa 63:1-6
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

Rev 14:20
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Very important to remember we are talking spiritually. Blood is symbolic for death. So when Jesus returns all flesh will be gone, and in an instant everyone that has been spiritually killed by Satan and his followers will know it. What a state of confusion for most people at that time.

Revelation 19:13
and his name is called The Word of God.

What is the name of the rider of the white horse? The Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God.

Revelation 19:14
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

The Word of God will have an army behind him, and they will also be on white horses, they will be dressed in perfection, they have no blemishes on their garments. They have done their work for the Lord and have been purified.

Revelation 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

What he says will cut them to pieces spiritually, because they will know they were wrong. He is going to be speaking to the people of the world. He is going to show the world God's way of how the kingdom should be run. He will be tough and you will do it God's way, which is in the Word or you will feel the wrath of God. He is going to get rid of every bad thing that the world has been taught by Satan.

That is why the winepress is used in this example. The reason is because Jesus is the true vine and we are his grapes. When Satan comes pretending to be Jesus, then anyone that has followed him is "rotten fruit," and everything in them is poison. They need to be cleaned out and start fresh.

Revelation 19:16
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

There is no doubt that this is Jesus the Word of God, who is King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Father is so good to us, he wants us to know what will happen. Remember Matthew 7:21-23 & 25:31-34
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matt 25:31-34
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
