Revelation 2:7

TO HIM THAT OVERCOME'IH WILL I GIVE TO EAT OF THE TREE OF LIFE, WHICH IS IN THE MIDST OF THE PARADISE

OF GOD.

There are a few things the Father is telling us in this verse. I am going to show all of them and then we will look at one of them more in depth.

First of all Jesus is talking to the overcomers and he is telling them what their reward will be.

Second he tells them that their reward is being able to eat of the Tree of Life. This tree is in the paradise of God. This tree is also mentioned in the lirst book of the bible, which is Genesis. And the Tree of Life is mentioned in the last book of the bible, which is Revelation. Let us look at the Tree of Life.

In Genesis 2:9" The Tree of Life also in the midst of the Garden".

Then Adam fell, so in Genesis 3:22-24 God sent Adam and Eve out of his paradise, so they did not have access to the Tree of Life anymore.

But we see in Revelation the overcomers will have access to the Tree of Ufe again.

In Revelation 22 the Father tells us about the tree of life and that it is in the eternity with the overcomers.

Do a side study on all the times this Tree of Ufe is mentioned and find out more about it. This tree is the opposite of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
