Revelation 22:8
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
John had been shown all these things that he wrote, and he also had heard everything, this was not a dream. He had been taken to the future to see everything.
And because he is human, he was overwhelmed with the power of the supernatural being that had taken him on this journey, and so he worshipped him, because of all the things he could do that John couldn't dream about doing.
This is exactly what will happen when Satan and his angels come to earth. They will have so much power and ability that humans will just start worshipping them. Even today humans worship a great preacher of the Word. They love what they hear and they just start thinking about the person who is giving the message, because that is who they can see, and looking up to them in awe and admiration of their ability.
People today do that with other people too, not just the Word. Look at Elvis, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood, Garth Brooks, President Clinton, and even Princess Dianna. They go crazy and just worship the ground this people walk on.
Just imagine what people will do when Satan and his angels come to earth and start saving the flesh planet and getting rid of everything that is bad in the flesh, and having no more sickness, having no more money problems, having no more crime, and no one will die. That means everyone will pretty much get all their "prayers" answered.
Think about it for a second and you will see how you would feel. You see all the bad and evil things in the world gone and replaced with everything that the world thinks is good and there was one person who did it and you knew it. What would you think about that person? Now, if that person came and asked people to work for him and help him would you go and work for him and help him help others? If your answer was yes, then you need to know that is not what the Father wants.
The flesh world and everything in it, is not what the Father wants us to work for, because when Jesus returns, the flesh world and everything in it will be gone.
Now there is a way to tell if a person is working for the Father or for themselves. It is from their response to the worship you give them. If they are working for themselves, then they will accept it. If they are working for the Father, then they will rebuke you, because no servant of God would accept any praise or worship for "what they have done,"because they know they did not do it, it was the Father that did it, and he just used them to do his work.
Revelation 22:9
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
This angel rebuked John for worshipping him, and then he explained that he is just like John. He does the same work that John does which is serve the Lord, and teach others. He was one of the prophets, when he was in the flesh and he also follows the Word of God. We are only to worship God and no one else.
Now think about it, if John or one of the other apostles appeared to you, would you worship the ground they walked on, because they had walked with Jesus on earth, or because they have books in the Word? I hope your answer is no, we are to look up to, worship, praise, thank, give glory to only one and that is The Lord God Almighty, the Father of us all and no one else!!!
Revelation 22:10
And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
The angel told John, do not hide these words of this book, because the servants need it. Then he goes on to explain what he means.
Revelation 22:11
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
If someone is doing things wrong and they are not a Christian, let them continue to do wrong things. It is not your place to correct a person who is not a Christian.
On the other hand if someone claims to be a Christian, then they must continue to be a Christian, and follow the Word of God and they will be holy through the Word of God.
Many Christians today would disagree with the Word here, and say it is our job to change people, and they are 100% wrong. Jesus never did it and no one else in the Word did it to people who were not interested. The reason they were not interested is because the Father has not given them the gift of faith or opened their spiritual eyes and if he doesn't we can not.
Revelation 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
When the Father appears for the white throne judgment everyone will get what they have coming to them, for the works they have done, in the world that was, in this flesh age, and in the millennium.
Revelation 22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
The Father is all in all, he is that he is, always remember that.
