Revelation 22:14
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

If you do as the Word tells us to do, then you will be blessed because you will have access to the tree of life.

The access to the tree of life was taken away back in the garden, because of what Adam and Eve did as it is written;


Gen 3:22-24
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.


Now in the eternity we will have access to the tree of life, as the Father promised.

Rev 2:7
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 22:15
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

All the people that will be kept outside the city when Jesus returns are those that do not do what the Word tells them. The first group is the "dogs," the dogs are those that do not believe and are not even pretending to be a christian. This is what the Lord says to do with them, as it written;


Matt 7:6
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Do not waste your time with them, do not plant seeds, do not share christian information with these people, they do not want to know, they could care less.

The next thing we have is the ones that are called sorcerers, they "poison the truth." These are the people that may call themselves Christians, but all they do is destroy the Word, by making it false and bitter and poison to the spirit.

Like saying all you have to do is "believe" and you are saved, even if you go out and do all bad things after and do nothing for the Father, you will go to heaven. Just walk down to the altar and accept Jesus, and you are saved. That is a lie and poison and it also makes people worst than they were before.

The Word tells us very plainly, if you believe you will change and you will do work for the Father as it is written;


James 2:17-19
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

The Lord says very plainly, faith without works is dead. If you are one of those that say "I believe in God," and do nothing for the Lord spiritually, then you are in the same category as the devils or evil spirits!! Think about that for a minute. See how that all you have to do is believe stuff is poison?


James 2:20-22
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

And again Faith without works is dead, the way we know one is has true faith is by what they do for the Lord.

James 2:24-26
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

And again we are told in the same chapter, faith without works is dead, just as the flesh body is dead without the "soul" in it.

So a person may think they are a Christian, but are they doing the work of the Lord? If they go around telling people all they have to do is believe and go to the altar and they are headed for eternity, then they are working for the devil, not God, and are a sorcerer according to the Lord.

Next we have the "whoremongers,"a whoremonger is a person who is doing the work of Satan and committing spiritual adultry against their true husband and may not even know it.

This the people who follow the others that poison the truth.

They go to church every Sunday and sit there and listen and go home. The church that they go to does not teach them anything about the true work of God, it just sets up fairs and bingo's and suppers, and games and fun to raise money for the church.

These people think they are doing work for the Lord, but he is not interested in this stuff, it will not help anyone spiritually, the Lord wants us to do things that will help others spiritually. He tells us in his Word, what he will tell these people, when he returns. Paul also warns us about this "spiritual adultry."

2 Cor 11:2-3
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

See we are told here, we are to be "spiritual virgins" for the Lord, which means we have done work for him only and not "jumped into bed" with Satan's ideas.

Matt 25:31-33
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.


When Jesus returns he will put his true Christians on one side and everyone else on the other side.

Matt 25:41-43
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Jesus is not talking about the flesh here, he is talking about spiritually, If a person came to you and asked you a question about the bible, and you told them you didn't have time, you didn't know, go ask someone else, then you have just "slapped Jesus in the face." What your saying is "I don't care about you, I have more important things to do."

Another thing mentioned is "naked," this is not talking about clothes for the flesh. It is talking about spiritual clothes. You get spiritual clothes, by doing spiritual works for the Lord. So when you see other Christians, not doing anything or thinking they are doing something for the Lord, you are to tell them what they need to do or help them get " spiritual clothing", because they will be "naked" in the eternity. As it is written 2 Cor 5:3 and Rev 3:17.

This is just some examples of what Matt 25:41- 43 truly means.

The next kind of person is a "murderer," now this is someone that kills another spiritually, and does it on purpose, knowing that their message or teaching are just for money, power, or fame.


I Jn 3:15
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.



The next kind of person mentioned is the "idolaters." This is someone who puts anything before God. Now when someone does this it becomes an idol to them, they care about it more than the Lord.


Exod 20:1-5
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;


This could be an object, a person, work, money, a hobby or even a church or religion. The Father wants to be first in our lives, if we are a Christian. That means you spend time communicating with him. The way the Father communicates is through his Word. He wants to teach us and guide us everyday and all the time. He does not want us to do anything without asking for his guidance first. Most Christians try it their way first, when that doesn't work they go to the Father and ask.

Just to let you know I have asked the Father many questions and he has answered me through his Word, every time. So I know he answers, but that is without doubt. You can not ask and then say I don't know if he will answer, because he will not.

So if you listen to yourself above God, then you have become an idol. The Father wants to be first in everything we do.

The last kind of person mentioned is a "liar." The Lord hates lying and we are not to lie and the worst is to know you are lying and doing it anyway.

Prov 12:22
22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

I Jn 4:20
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
