Rev 4:8
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full
of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord
God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
Isa 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a
throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered
his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts:
the whole earth is full of his glory.
The Lord God is always given glory at all times, Satan will want this when he is
on earth pretending to be God, as it is written.
Rev 4:9
9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the
throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
The Father is also given glory, honor and they thank him who is all in all, by
not only the four living creatures, but also
Revelation 4:10
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and
worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the
throne, saying,
This tells us that we also have the 24 elders that are there at the throne, they
have their crowns which means power, they are letting the Lord know that all
power belongs to him and that is why they throw their crowns in submission.
Rev 4:11
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast
created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
We are to give the Lord all the glory and honor and power, because he created
everything, and we are told he created everything so he could enjoy it. Does the
Lord enjoy you and what you do? This also lets us know that the Lord is not some
empty power floating around in the universe, he has emotions just like we do.
