Subj:	Revelation 6:7&8

Revelation  6:7   And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.


    We see this is the forth seal and it is shown by the forth beast.


Revelation  6:8   And I looked, and behold a pale horse:


     The word "pale" means greenish. This word is mostly translated "green".  It is used a few times in scripture, having to do with green grass. It is in Mark 6:39; Revelation 8:7 and Revelation 9:4.


 and his name that sat on him was Death,



     "Death" has no hope for his soul.  
Heb 2:14
14	Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;  (God came in the flesh because his children had to go through the flesh.  Have you ever been taught that?)


 that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; ( The reason was so that he would destroy Satan.  Satan was givin the power  to get humans to die spiritually.  That is his whole plan.  The more he gets, the less the Father gets. God came in the flesh and died in the flesh, but he was perfect so Satan didn't get him. That way anyone who became one with God through Jesus, also overcame deathas it is wriiten;
John 17:22-23	And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23	I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.)




 and Hell followed with him.



     "Hell" or hades which means "not" & "to know". In other words a place or state void of spiritual knowledge.



 And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth,


     There is two parts to this.  One is death and the other is hades.  That is why it says them.  you can't have one without the other.  

     The next question the Father answers for us is how does Satan get people to die spiritually and become void of spiritual knowledge?  Very simply

 to kill with sword,

    One of the things they will do is destroy someone with the words they say.  People don't know the word of God, so they will believe what Satan will tell them. Then they will spiritually die.


 and with hunger, 


    Another thing they will do is take away the ability to get the true word of God.  They will be spiritually starved.


and with death,


    Satan himself will spiritually kill them.


and with the beasts of the earth.


     This is talked about in other places in scripture, such as;



Jer 16:4	They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.





Isa 56:9	All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

Jer 7:32	Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
33	And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.


Jer 27:6	And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.

Jer 28:14	For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

Ezek 5:17	So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

Dan 7:3 	And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
