This is saying that when this great commotion takes place on earth, one of the things that will happen is "stars will fall to earth". Now we know from studying this book that symbolism is used. Jesus told us in Chapter 1, that stars stands for angels.Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. So there will be angels that will fall to the earth, and these angels will be thrown out of heaven, because they are not wanted there anymore. They did not do what they were suppose to. These angels are talked about different times in bible. Let us look at when this takes place and who throws them out of heaven. Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (if you read chapter twelve you will find that in the future there will be a war in heaven. This war will be at that time that God has had enough and he will start to punish the people of the earth. Right now Satan and his angels are in heaven, but as you can read Michael and the God's angels will fight against Satan and his angels.) 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.(This fight Satan will not win, and he will never be allowed to return to heaven.) 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ( As you can see the father wants you to know without a doubt, who he is talking about. That is why he puts all of Satans rolls in one place. He was the dragon and decieved God's angels before. Then he was the serpent and decieved Adam and Eve in the garden. That wasn't a snake in the garden it was Satan himself. People call him the Devil and he is Satan . Satan of course means accuser. This also tells us that he will decieve the whole world. He willl be thrown down to the earth and his angels will be thrown down to earth with him. This is the stars that fall to the earth.) 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. ( As you can see what Satan is doing up in heaven right now. He is telling God day and night what bad things christians are doing on earth. God knows what we do and Satan keeps reminding him. From what I can see, right now there is no peace in heaven at this time. This verse is also telling us that when Satan and his angels are thrown out of heaven, then will God's kingdom come. ) 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. ( Satan didn't get thrown out of heaven before Jesus died, as you can see. Because these christians overcame Satan through the blood of Jesus Christ and by what they said and their flesh wasn't important to them.) 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (The voice in heaven is saying ok now everyone in heaven can be happy. But watch out all you that still live on the earth, because Satan is angry and he is coming down to earth and why is Satan angry, because God has only given him a little time on earth to lead astray the people of the earth. Satan wants to get God's elect, but he knows he won't be able to. That is why he is angry. Remember God shorten the time,so his elect would be protected as it is written; Matt 24:21-24 21 For then shall be great tribulation ( This word means "pressure"), such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect Mark 13:19-22 19 For in those days shall be affliction ( affliction means "pressure" also), such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. 21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: 22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Why will there be so much pressure on the people of the earth? Because Satan and his Angels are supernatural and the people of the earth will not be able to withstand the words Satan will be saying. They will believe whatever he tells them. Humans are no match for Satan, the only way you can be "saved" from Satan's lies, is to know and understand the word of God, Jesus Christ is the Word of God. You have to know what God wants you to know and you have to know what will happen and when it will happen. If you never study the Word and find out God's plan, Satan will deceive you. God will make you believe Satan's lies, because you weren't interested in knowing what his Word said, before Satan comes to earth. As it is written; II Th 2:9-12 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth (The Word of God), that they might be saved (that they would be "protected"). 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (See what this says. God will make them believe Satan's lies, because they will think he is Jesus. They will also think they are doing what God wants them to do. But the word tells us they are deceived.) 12 That they all might be damned( "damned" means "to distinguish" not to go to hell) who believed not the truth ( "the truth" is the word of God), but had pleasure in unrighteousness ( what they did instead, is do what God didn't want them to do). Jesus told us that if you endured to the end, then you would be protected. Matt 10:22 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth(keep what you know, no matter what) to the end shall be saved (protected). Matt 24:13 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mark 13:13 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. The Word is telling us, that if we study the Word of God and understand what is going to happen, and do what God wants us to do at that time. Then we will be protected from Satan's lies having an effect on us. Jesus talked about them falling to earth in; Matt 24:29 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken; Mark 13:25 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
So as you can see the sixth seal is talking about things that will happen to the earth. In His Service
