chapter 7:9-17

The reward of those that overcame the test.

Rev 7:9

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

John is then shown what will happen after the tribulation or testing on earth. Those that overcame Satan and his angels, during his reign of Antichrist.

First of all it is not just Israel, it is people out of every single nationality on earth. There is not a nationality that is left out.

Second they are standing before the throne of God and Jesus is there also. They have been given their clean and pure robes. They are singing the praises of the Lord. You must understand this is at the end, it is not during the reign of Antichrist. Jesus told us the reward of the overcomers in the seven groups of people (churches).

Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (they will wear white)

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (they will be at the throne)

Revelation 7:10

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

This is the ones that have overcome during this earth age. They are Praising God, because they were protected by Him through the Word.

Rev 15:2-4 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. (As you can see these are the same people. They overcame the beast. This is after the tribulation. This is after Jesus returns. )

Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. (The only ones who could sing the song, were the people who were purchased by the blood of Jesus, and were on earth.)

Rev 5:8-9 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; ( Here we see that these 24 elders were purchased by the blood of Jesus. Someone from every race has been purchased by the blood of Jesus.)

Revelation 7:11

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

We see here all the angels stood around the throne of God and the elders were there and the four beast were there. They fell down and worshipped God.

Revelation 7:12

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

If you notice they said seven things. They almost said the same thing they said in Revelation 5:11&12, the only difference is the word "riches". Here they say the word "thanksgiving". The reason is simple. Then they had not received their rewards at the time they are now they have already received their rewards from the Lord.
