Now let us take a look at what these angels will be like.
Revelation 9:7
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle;
This is telling us that this army will be powerful and they will
be ready for the spiritual war that will occur. When horse are mentioned in the word it
stands for power or strength.
Let us say you are looking at two armies. One side is just people standing around in no
order, they have no weapons or if they have a weapon they don't know how to use it.
There is no leaders or if they have leaders there is not control over the people. The
people are just going to do what they want, most of them are not even listening to the
leaders. But not only that most if not all the leaders have no knowledge about who they
are going to fight or what the enemy will have for weapons or even where they are coming
from.
The leaders know about weapons, but they don't know how to use them or how to
show their people how to use them. This is a really horrible place to be in.
Now let us take a look at the other army. The other army are all on horses and they
are all in lines and waiting for the battle. They have weapons and they know how to use
them. They all know their weapons and exactly what the weapon can and will do for
them. They have more than one weapon and they know how to use all of them.
They have a leader and they follow everything he says without a hesitation. They don't
even think about what if's. They are trained and disciplined. Their leader knows
everything about his enemy. He knows who they are. What their weaknesses are. Where
they will be and what kind of weapons they will be using. He even knows where their
leaders are and how to destroy them first. He has everything planned out.
Which army will win this war? The second army most of the time.
Well the first army is the humans and the second army is Satan's army.
Revelation 9:7
and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of
men.
They will pretend to be "christians" and they will look like you
and me. Christians will get a crown, that is what this refers to.
Revelation 9:8
"And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions."
They will be gentle in their approach to people, like a woman
would do. But they will tear people apart spiritually.
Revelation 9:9
"And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron;"
You won't be able to get through their armour, they won't
move away from their purpose.
What is the breastplate for in the armour of God? It is for righteousness. Which they
will not have.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness;
Revelation 9:9
"and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to
battle."
There are many of them and their sound will be over
powering or fearful.
Revelation 9:10
"And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and
their power was to hurt men five months."
They will "sting" people with the posoin of their message
and they will be able to do this for a certain amount of time. Five means grace and as it is
written The time has been shortened for the elects sake. That is how powerful these
supernatural angels will be.
Revelation 9:11
"And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit,"
They have only one leader, he is the angel of the bottomless pit. This is refering to the
begining of this chapter. Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall
from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
Revelation 9:11
" whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name
Apollyon."
In the hebrew it means the destroyer and in the greek it means
the destroyer. Satan is the destroyer of the people. That is his mission, to destroy
everyone he can. That tells us Satan is their leader.
Now I just want to let you see what the army of the Lord looks like. The army knows
what they are to do and they know what the enemy is going to do. Because their leader,
The Lord has written it all down in the Word for them to read and study.
They have the armour of God on and in place, and nothing can get through to them.
They trust their leader and do everything he has told them to do without question,
because they know that the enemy only exist because their leader allows it. At any time he
could wipe the enemy out. Their leader knows what the other leader is thinking and what
he will do.
Which army do you want to be apart of? All three will be on earth and in the battle.
