TRAVEL JOURNAL

We arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico mid morning to a beautiful Sunday and while some waited for others at the Airport others boarded the Destiny ship and enjoyed lunch.

On Monday we docked in St Thomas where we shopped till we dropped and did some land tours.  On Tuesday we were in St Lucia where we took tours and went to the beaches.  By Wednesday we were ready for the relaxing day at Sea and looked forward to Curacao & Aruba.

On Thursday we landed at Curacao before 8:00 A.M. and all of us went shopping as well as tour the country.  We found out that Curacao had such good prices after we compared our buys later that evening.

On Friday we welcomed Aruba.  The island was just as beautiful as we pictured it and believe it or not we did more shopping.  Some of us went on tours and we all took in some sun at the beaches.  That night the ship departed Aruba at 11:00 p.m. and we got a chance to sample some Aruban nightlife.  A couple of us tried our luck at the Aruban Casinos.  We all wished we could have stayed in Curacao & Aruba an extra day as we bid farewell late Friday night.

On Saturday we relaxed, sat out by the pool and browsed the ship's shops.  All the Seventh day Adventists had a quiet day to worship before we started to prepare for our trip home.

On Sunday we landed in Puerto Rico and some of us toured the island as well as shopped in Marshalls in San Juan.  What a shopping bunch!!!  Good fun was had by all.
