St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (Charlotte Amalie)
If you’re looking for a Caribbean port with more than just beaches, check out St. Thomas. In addition to great shopping (the island is known as a duty-free paradise), you’ll find museums, gardens, a marine park, a tramway, and a world-class golf course. And, of course, amazing beaches.

Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis
Ships dock in Basseterre, a historic town with more than 30 heritage sites. Among them is the 38-acre Brimstone Hill fortress, where, hundreds of years ago, the British and French fought over the island. This tropical paradise is also a great place to scuba dive: Take a shipwreck dive, or visit the National Marine Park. Or, simply spend the day at one of the island’s white- or black-sand beaches.

Grenada, (St. Georges)
The Caribbean island of Grenada is located just north of Venezuela. At approximately 215 square miles around, Grenada is one of the smallest independent countries in the western hemisphere, but with a British/French/West Indian background, it’s rich in history. Exciting activities include visits to the island’s three military forts (views are amazing), water sports (snorkeling, diving, and more), and viewing rain forests and waterfalls via adventure Jeep tours.

La Guaira, Caracas
Come explore the capital and crown jewel of Venezuela.  You’ll get an indepth look at this sophisticated metropolis, rich in culture and history. Less than an hour’s drive from La Guaira lies Caracas, which rises 3,164 feet above sea level. Driving through the city, you’ll see fine examples of colonial architecture comfortably situated alongside modern, towering skyscrapers.

Aruba
The tiny island of Aruba is only 120 square miles in size, but it’s packed with things to do, whether you’re interested in duty-free shopping, golfing, or simply spending the day lying on a white-sand beach. Nature lovers will adore the Butterfly Farm, a tropical garden that’s home to hundreds of gorgeous butterflies; and Aruba’s Natural Bridge, which was carved out of rock by the wind.

Dressing Up - 2 Formal Nights

When you're in port, evening dress is casual, slacks, sweaters, blouses, open-neck shirts, etc. are typically worn. Shorts, cut-off T-shirts, "torn" jeans and bare feet are not permitted in the dining room. For smart casual evenings, passengers dress as they would for a fine restaurant at home, with ladies in skirts/dresses/ pantsuits and gentlemen wearing shirts with collars and/or a sports jacket. On formal nights, typical black tie formal wear is appropriate. Items include evening gowns and cocktail dresses for ladies and tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits for men. Tuxedo rentals can be arranged prior to the cruise on certain itineraries.

DINING

Personal Choice Dining allows passengers the freedom to dine when, where, and with whom they'd like in a number of settings. Food and service are good throughout the ship. The three European-style dining rooms—Bernini on Deck 5, Donatello on Deck 6, and Canaletto on Deck 6—are basically the same in size. Sabatini's Trattoria has a decent Italian menu with superb risotto and ravioli and has a person surcharge. The southwestern Desert Rose dishes out good Tex-Mex fare along with great margaritas and a delicious pumpkin cheesecake at an $8 per person tab. Other options include snacks, breakfast, luncheon buffets, and light dinners at the 24-hour Horizon Court; fresh from the oven pizzas at Prego; hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken burgers at the Trident Grill; Häagen-Dazs ice cream from Sundaes (for a price); afternoon tea served in the Donatello dining room; and around-the-clock room service.

ENTERTAINMENT

A nonstop, let-us-entertain-you theme prevails through lavish Broadway-style productions in the Princess Theatre, with its no-smoking/no-bar-service policy during performances helping to enhance audience appreciation. Theatre performances and events include solo pianists, vocalists, cabaret acts, audience-participation games, first-run movies, bingo, art auctions, lectures, demonstrations, wine-tasting seminars, ping-pong, line dancing, shuffleboard, basketball, paddle tennis, golf links, and virtual reality games.  Gaming action takes place in the Atlantis Casino on Deck 6, which provides a unique, underwater setting enhanced by fish swimming in holographic walls and a specially woven carpet. Late-night dancing can be found in the Skywalkers Disco & Observation Lounge, which is suspended 150 feet above the sea to offer a kaleidoscope of lighting technology, pulsating music, and breathtaking views.
