the fertile earth,
The mother who gave the first birth,
Her own birth a universal wonder,
A deep mystery - still beyond her.
She is
known to every ancient tribe,
Curved, full and gentle to describe,
As Gaea, Frigga, Maha Devi or other,
Sensed as the mother of the mother.
Her
pregnant belly - a sign in creation,
That life has a meaningful continuation,
A future in which man can place a hope,
To make his present time worth to cope.
Her beauty
is a grandeur to be seen,
Painted in luscious lands of green,
Contrasted with orange-red dry sites,
Or white snow and cloud covered heights.
Posing her
flowing atmospheric hair,
Her waters mirror her, as the most fair,
Dressed in her ocean blue designers charm,
She is a healing planet refreshing and calm.
