Neptune
There is
something whirling going on
In the world of mighty Poseidon,
Known also as Neptune, God of the sea,
Under the ocean, enshrouded in mystery.
Worshipped
by seamen for lucky hours,
Hidden to the eyes, he waves his powers.
With his trident he can make the earth shake,
His quarrelsome personality is hard to take.
For the
mystiques he is a sensitive dream,
The motive of the mind exposing a gleam -
Of a unique soul in spiritual solution,
With the universal ocean in diffusion.
All this
was inspired by his tinted blue,
What the mystiques believe, may be true,
For us he is a gas giant - one of the four,
With his internal heat and his small core.
With dark
spots - a temper he performs,
Showing strong winds and hurricane storms,
Poseidon or Neptune - to cosmic tunes
He dances round with his satellite moons.
