Spain/Balearics

This is a shot of the beach, off the coast of Marbella.  If you come through Gibraltar on the way into the Mediterranean Sea, Marbella is one of the first stopping points.  It's just west of Malaga.

The ruins of a 9th century Moorish fortress are shown below and are a popular tourist attraction.

Deia, Mallorca
Cathedral in Palma, Mallorca

The Balearic Islands are reportedly beautiful and full of friendly people.  There is a lot of history on these islands and inland tours should be encouraged.

The island of Mallorca is the largest in the Balearics and the shot above is off the coast at Deia.

To the right is the famous cathedral in Palma, the capital city, that was built between the 14th and 19th centuries.
