| Herb Punch 1 fistful Lemon Balm 2 fistful Borage 1 fistful mint 1 Cup pineapple juice juice of 6 lemons 3 quarts ginger ale 1 quart strong tea syrup made of 1 cup suar boiled with 1/2 cup water |
| Pour 1 1/2 quarts boiling water over the lemon balm and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain the liquid into the borage and mint. Add the fruit juices, tea, and syrup. Refrigerate 8 hrs or more. Strain into a punch bowl. Add ice, some extra mint and ginger ale. |
| pumpkin bread 2 Cups sugar 3 1/2 Cups all purpose flour 2 tsp baking soda 2 Cups mashed pumpkins 1 tsp cinnamon 4 eggs 1 Cup oil 2/3 Cup water 1 Cup raisins 1 tsp nutmeg |
| Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Grease 2 large or 3 small loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool. Wrap to retain freshness. |
