Front Back Spring Cover Case Marks Movement

One of the most coveted longwind watches is the celluloid skeleton. Only a few hundred of these were made, and they have had a very low survival rate. Each celluloid watch came in its own celluloid box (click here for pictures of the box). The watch was available in two colors - green or red. This example, although missing some movement parts and in worn condition, is the first example I have seen in several years. Note the signature on the dust cover. Pictures courtesy of loadsoftime.
