Gallery \ Watches \ "Series C" Introduced in 1883, the “Series C” is almost identical to the “Series B”. The only differences are that the watch is slightly slimmer {although not by much}, the patent dates were no longer marked on the crown, and the dial was subtly re-designed. The “Series C” was offered in a variety of case styles, and is occasionally seen with advertising embossed on the cases or the wide reflector ring. The dust cover is marked “Series C”, and is sometimes seen with a warning not to remove the dust cap, identical to the warning on the “Series E”. The original retail price was probably $2.50 to $3.50. “Series C” was discontinued around 1884. |
