A Lifestream Now Contained - 09-14-04 @4:20 AM Parading down the soft freeway The sad-eyed child begins to sway The signs have all been rearranged And his thoughts of late have gone estranged For who would ever Think to remember The way back home The way you came Or the seeds you've sown Reality it seems Was just floating on a stream So the tides never changed Until the ocean came And who would ever Think you'd remember That very first dream In the shadows of the rain Where your mind first burst a seam Reality it seems Would splinter in its streams Injecting & subduing Its ruins and remains Perusing through an endless hall A man stares blankly to the wall Though the signs have all been rearranged His thoughts of late have remained the same
