Raindrops - 10-15-02 A raindrop quivers Shedding a vehement smile Minions of the Sun Razor blades With the sharpest edge of nothing And the wisps start falling In the ripples of the water, Shadows of the forest Where their calmness rages storms A cool whisper traveling Hills of yonder and inhabitees of legend The words it has to share Reverb inaudibly Existence remains shrouded Presence, ever known A spirit in the water When washed away, forgotten Dispersed into its essence Now it hums the shadow's tune Unfolding each entourage Circles of growth and of decay Brought into the lite By the hand of darkness end Days of thought linger on its shoulders And the air above seems warm The purpose of existence Was just discovered, and lost all the same Like sand, intangible yet real Just a feeling as it sifts through your finger Through your entity Sans your deity Sometimes the rain doesn't fall for years Sometimes the sun never graces our ears Sometimes the moon eclipses the nite Sometimes the shimmer takes a silhouette Sometimes you feel it's lifely essence Sometimes ther summons us Sometimes the Earth responds Luminescent being Of protocols unknown Quaesing all the universe Never greater was the silence Never wiser was it song All the ripples fade away And so begin again He who knows not knows most of all He who knows all has nothing new to learn He who knows not what he knows, knows not what he doesn't know He is in equilibrium And the harmonious streams of life Engulf his spirit with a pleasant flow
