Sudden Revelation 10-07-03 Is there anything so appealing As for a fresh and new idea To conquer an able, willing mind Is there anything so revealing As the cognitive obsessions Which conquer our biding time I lay as though a fallen victory A conquest left forgotten A ruin of our time A transformation's proclamation So often goes unheard Till its existence becomes evident It has now occurred As though it never had occurred to me In the preexistent mind To explore this nether realm Previously undefined The bellowing of a beast No longer fit to roam this world From his slumbers in the dirt On which darkness is dispersed The sounds awake dimming memories That pervade my twilight gaze I think in praise of silence And act in its discord An image of the paradox Dissolving in the floor Covering the muddy waters From solitude's ravine Truth though it may be It's a fear I've always known Yet a sensual desire With these waters it has grown I awake, cold alone In the caverns where we hone These cognitions of an entity So unnatural in creation So becoming once it's sown So delirious in retrospect That how could I have known It's devastation inescapable In each pathway irreversible A metaphysical alienation Will it liberate sensation From the nucleus of fallacy's semi-permeable Secrete unsequestered feelings That in life may permeate In time even dominate The susceptible existence From which it first sought exodus
