This interesting contraption I called the AntiSafety Pin. It is a toy catapult attached to a toy car. The direction of the arm has been reversed by rubber bands so now instead of tossing things it now smashes downward with great force. It has a safety pin on the end and a nail halfway on the arm so that it stabbs things. One of the easier things for it to stab is a drink can. The hardest is a soup can. It is operated manually. It was the first thing that I built that had anything to do with fighting robots.
This two piece object is a saw blade and a tiny 1.5 volt motor. I had a stand for the motor to sit on so that it held the saw upright (then called a contraption), but the first time I put the saw on the motor and turned it on I had no stand so I held it in my hand. I was able to rip up a booklet, destroy a Lego car, chip a metal car, and dent a can. After doing that I am not allowed to spin the blade really fast because my parents fear that I will chop off some fingers or something.
This is just a rim. It is up at my family's lake house and it is a hour or two from where I live. There is nothing to do unless you are fishing or working, so I brought this and tied a rope through it. Its purpose is to destroy things by running into them. I pull the rope and run and then I aim it at an object, let go, jump out of its way and let it destroy that object. It's a way to have destruction and exercise together. |
