The Dish On Dim: Jorge's character on Skate, Dim, is a little bit of a mystery. He's a graffiti artist turned video artist, who's kind of the creative talent among his group of friends. Jorge says Dim "Kind of found his niche with this crew. He gets a job out of it, working around the things he likes." Dim and Josh are best friends, and they spend most of their time together."He's not a good skater as the rest of the guys," says Jorge, but his artistic talents make up for his skateboarding shortcomings. "If any art needs to be done they call on him, and if Josh needs his buddy, he calls on him too," says Jorge.

What's with the Graffiti Thing?: To Jorge, it seems like a weird coincidence that both his character on Higher Ground and his character on Skate are graffiti artists, especially since Jorge is somewhat of a graffiti artist himself in real life. "I actually can and I actually do do that, "admits Jorge. "It was pretty interesting how it fell into place. I've always been doing graffiti art on my own, it never became a part of acting until recently."

Art School: People don't learn to be graffiti artists the same way they learn to be sculptors or painters. Jorge just sort of slowly fell into it. "One day, I remember just kind of drawing and it came easy. That was pretty recently, like a few years back, " he explains. "I was like, 'Hey, I can do this pretty good.' and people were like, 'Hey that looks good. 'So I just kept drawing and drawing. Then, one day I went on a walk and I saw these guys painting on a wall. I had some artwork I wanted bigger, so I hung out with them and they started teaching me can control, and what not, and I found some walls and I just started practicing."

Spray Style: Jorge has only been doing graffiti art for a few years, and he's still learning and getting better. Right now, he's really into painting faces and people. "I like characters and stuff with colors, "Jorge says, "And I'm trying to learn how to do 3-D lettering. It's kind of tough. "According to Jorge, he has his own style and he sticks to a few faces that he paints and works on. At the moment, he's trying to get better at painting girls. (Remember guys, you can't just find any wall and start spraying. That's illegal. Make sure you have permission to graffiti a wall before you do anything.)

As Seen On Tv: Jorge has also had the opportunity to show off his graffiti skills on the small screen, on both Skate and Higher Ground. "On Skate there's a few times we went to this secret skate park, so during lunch, I kind of snuck back there and grabbed some cans, "says, Jorge. "When we watched [the episode] I was able to be like, 'That's my piece in the back. "How cool.

Skate Skills: Jorge admits that in real life, Chris Jorgens, who plays Josh on the show, is a better skater than he is. "He's actually a better surfer, first off, " reveals Jorge. "People don't know that but, if you watch him skate, watch his shoulders, watch how he skates, you can tell he's got surfer form. "Jorge goes on to say that Chris "dominates on the surf board, and skating comes next. "Jorge also explains that he and Chris have different styles of skating. "I'm more street, "he says, "I basically started skating for transportation when I lived in the city. Tricks came later."
