HisStory

Born on June 9th, 1970 (I know you are burning your brains to find out my age...) in Ede (a small town in Holland), I opened my eyes and...WOW, so this is earth!!
Both parents are from the South-Moluccan Islands (Indonesia), so I guess that made me a Moluccan, right?
At the age of 14 I began to play the guitar while taken some lessons from an uncle and from that moment I knew that the guitar would take an important place in my heart for the rest of my life.
After growing up with music from Hendrix, The Stones, Thin Lizzy and all those rock and roll giants, I also tried to rock on my guitar and it made me feel good.
At the age of 17 I formed a band with guys from school and there we were: Temporary!
We were playing covers from Santana, Bryan Adams, Tina Turner and of course...Moluccan music.
After breaking up I played in some rockbands like Prophet, My Generation, Groove Addicted (which was basically the band Temporary), Baby Take Your Teeth Out! and now Ihave this new group H.W.B., which stands for Harco Wattimena Band.
So..here I am and when my 1st cd comes out (February 2000) I will let you know and there will be some Mpegs here to listen to...
