"Do you write, Jaime?" Taylor asked, running a fingertip over pile of paper. "Yeah. Not been doing much of that lately though.." she sighed and both Taylor and Zac looked closely at her. "Why not? You play really well..." Zac said and trailed off, unsure how to interperet the look on her face. "It's not that there's nothing there." she said. Taylor and Zac exchanged a puzzled glance and waited for her to finish. Jaime smiled and shook her head. "You guys don't wanna know all this petty bullshit, do you?" she asked. "Oooh gossip.." Zac teased and flopped into one of the recliners. "Go 'head, Jaime. We want the whole scoop, the dirt.." Taylor grinned and flopped into the other recliner. "In that case," she smiled, "You need another beer and so do I." Jaime went to the refridgerator and came back with a six pack. She set it on the floor in front of her and handed one each to the men, then opened one for herself. "It's really no big deal, you guys. I just refuse to write anything for that greedy little bitch to sing. I'm hoping she gets sick of my bitch-on-wheels attitude and bails." she grinned. "You mean you're not really a bitch?" Zac teased, acting disappointed. "Shut up you." Jaime grinned. Taylor chuckled and then turned to her. "Why is she even in the band then? I mean if you can't stand her..." Taylor waited for Jaime to explain. "I let her in for Jadeleigh's sake. They're cousins and Jade asked if I'd give her a shot when she first moved here. I can sing lead and so can Tami, but I prefer to beat the hell out of my drums, thank you, and Tami prefers killer guitar solos." Jaime smiled brightly, then shrugged. "She can sing alright, but she's a greedy, sneaky little tramp and as soon as I bust her at whatever she's up to, which I AM sure involves hurting Jade I just don't have hard proof yet, she may as well bend over, grab her ankles and kiss her ass goodbye." Jaime took a long pull off her beer as both Taylor and Zac laughed out loud. "Don't laugh so soon guys." Jaime said suddenly serious. "It involves Josh, but I'm not sure how much." she said. Taylor and Zac looked stunned. "What are you talking about, Jaime?" Taylor asked. "Don't worry for now, Taylor. Like I said, I don't have proof. For all I know Angelbitch is just chasing Josh around 'cause she wants whatever Jade has. He could be innocent." she took another sip off her beer and stood up. "Enough daytime drama.." she smiled. "I heard you guys dug motorcycles." she laughed and went outside, then stuck her head back in the door. "Hey! I have room for a lot of stuff in there, but the bike stays out with the cat. Come on." she chuckled as they hurriedly got up and followed her outside.

Jade dropped her purse and sat sat down on the couch with a heavy sigh after she locked her apartment door behind her. She pulled her boots off and slipped her belt off, then laid back and put her feet up on the arm, crossing her ankles. She clasped her fingers behind her hed and stared at the ceiling for a long time, lost in her own thoughts. As hard as she tried, she couldn't keep her mind from returning to Isaac Hanson. She's always admired him as a musician, swooned when she heard his deep beautiful voice in the radio, but never figured on actually meeting him in her lifetime, even if she was an Oklahoma native. She had been so resigned to the fact that it never dawned on her, until Josh wanted her to meet them, that he was related to them. She'd been a little excited when Josh told her he'd talked them into coming to hear Jaime play, but she really hadn't been expecting to be so affected by Isaac, or his brothers for that matter. "Ugh! Jade!
Stop it! They're FAMILY.." she admonished herself and jumped up quickly, heading into the bathroom to shower, hoping to relax enough to sleep. She smiled to herself as she thought about Jaime, who ALWAYS stayed up until the next day after a gig, and wondered if Tay and Zac were able to keep up with her. She chuckled, turned on the water and got into the shower, wondering which one Jaime would end up with. As far as Jade could tell, BOTH were definately interested in her.

Ike woke a couple of hours later and swore silently, wondering why he was awake so soon when he had been so tired that he couldn't keep his eyes open. He turned roughly onto his other side and pulled his pillow more firmly under his head. As he lay there, willing himself to go back to sleep, his mind wandered back to Jade. He wondered how Josh had been lucky enough to meet a girl as cool as her. And to top it all off, she was so pretty, especially when she smiled. Or smiled and blushed at the same time. He found himself grinning in the darkness, and wondered how Jaime and Jade wound up being so close. Jade was much more quiet, though not overly shy, and she had a sharp sense of humor, whereas Jaime was a little more wild, and loud and her sense of humor was a bit more crude than Jade's. He decided if he had a choice, which he didn't he told himself firmly, he'd have to choose Jade. His last thought before he finally drifted off to sleep again, was of Jade's expressive, soft green eyes and her warm dimpled smile.

"Savagery of course..." he grinned, and took the box from her as she folded her legs underneath her, indian-style on the futon cushion. She leaned back and grabbed two Dr. Pepper's off the small table between the futon and the chair Zac's semi-unconscious form took up. "No more beer for you, then no more for me either." she smiled and popped the top of hers as she handed one to Taylor. "Thanks." he told her and opened the pizza box, offering it to her first. She took her slice, he set the box between them and grabbed his own slice. Both turned their attention back to the movie they'd been watching, but not for long. Soon they were talking, laughing and enjoying each other's company as if they'd known each other a very long time. They finally realized they hadn't actually watched the movie until the static from the VCR startled both of them. "Shit!" Jaime exclaimed, and jumped quickly up to punch the mute button on the remote, then looked over at Zac to make sure he was still asleep. "A stampede of cattle couldn't wake him up now, Jame.." Taylor told her, and moved the now empty pizza box so she could sit next to him. Just for the fun of it and to see if Tay was telling the truth, she poked at Zac and tickled his sock feet, then laughed when he didn't budge. "Guess not.." she grinned and flopped down next to Taylor, then crossed her legs underneath her and turned to face him.
