| Zac rolled over and groaned at the pain in his neck, then looked around trying to remember where he was. He caught sight of Taylor wrapped around Jaime on the futon and swore silently for falling asleep before Taylor. Damn him anyway. He sighed in relief when he saw two pair of sock feet sticking out of the blanket they were sharing. The hem of Jaime's sweatpants, and the bottoms of Taylor's pants were also sticking out. "Fuck this.." Zac groaned as he hoisted himself out of the chair. He grabbed his pillow and nudged Jaime over. She scooted back against Taylor, and Taylor scooted back, tightening his grip on Jaime's waist. Zac laid down next to Jaime with his back to her and grinned as he closed his eyes. Jaime's hand slipped over his waist, her fingers splayed against his bare belly where his shirt hiked up a little. He lay there for only a few seconds and was out cold again. "JAIME!!!" Jade hollered for the thrid time, trying to wake up the dead weight that was her friend, sandwiched between the two softly snoring hunks of men. jade had to chuckle. She'd probably pass out again after waking up between two of the most beautiful men on the planet. She wondered if the confident, out going woman that was Jaime would have the same reaction. Jade leaned over Zac and put her lips near Jaime's ear. "WAKE UP YOU HO!!" Jade said loudly then giggled when Jaime's eyes popped open. "What the fuck are you talkin' about?" she grouched, eyes barely focusing on JADE, let alone her surroundings. She must not have been asleep very long. Jade cleared her throat and giggled again, nodding to the large men she was using as pillows. "Oh shit!" Jaime exclaimed. "How the hell did Zac get here?" she asked. Jade folded her arms across her chest and pressed her lips together, then tapped her foot. "I dunno...YOU tell ME.." she replied finally, trying not to laugh. "Shut up wench...you know I can take ya. Besides the last thing I remember was watching a movie with my head on Taylor's chest. I dunno when the hell this happened. Damn!" she grinned wickedly at her friend. Taylor leaned up suddenly and kissed Jaime on the cheek, startling her. "Morning. You fell asleep. I didn't have the heart to wake you up and ask you to take Zac and me home. But I dunno when Zac creeped in, the little perv.." Tay grinned at Jaime and she laughed again. "Give a guy a break. He probably did wake up with a sore neck. You saw how he was sleeping." "I don't CARE what went on here last night as long as I didn't have to witness the depraved scene.." Jade teased, "But someone should have called Papa Hanson. Ike called this morning beside himself 'cause you dorks weren't answering your phones. Call home Tay. Ike led me to believe that your Dad's head was gonna explode if he didn't hear from you soon." she grinned. "Jaime, turn the fucking ringer on for a change would you? I can never get you when I want you." "Sorry. I was trying to write yesterday and then never turned it back on. But you found me, huh?" Jaime answered, then leaned over Zac. "Zacdude...wake up.." she nudged his shoulder. He shrugged her off and everyone laughed. "Come on Zac...you have to wake up. I need to get out of bed." Zac's eyes popped open at the sound of a female voice saying THAT to him. He rolled and looked at Jaime and grinned widely. "What if I don't WANT you to get out of bed." he growled and rolled on top of her. Jaime squealed and tried to roll his heavy body off hers, but she was in the wrong position with Taylor pressed against her other side. "Shit! ZAC! GET OFF!!" she yelled, still trying to push his heavy body up. "Make me.." he grinned down at her through his sleep tangled, blonde locks. "How 'bout I make you?" Taylor chimed in, only half-joking. He grabbed Zac's shoulder and pushed. "Like you CAN.." Zac retorted, then pinned Jaime down. "Zac get off...one of us has to call Dad." Taylor said, blue eyes flashing. "So call him.." Zac said not taking his eyes from Jaime's face, still grinning. Jade just held her breath, if Jaime didn't DO something these two Hansons were going to be fighting over her right here in her apartment. "I can't you moron..I'm trapped back here and my phone is over there in my jacket. And I was sure I heard the woman tell you to LET HER UP.." Taylor snapped and shoved Zac's shoulder again. Zac shot Tay a dirty look. "Zac...seriously.." Jaime said quickly. "You're leaning on my bladder, dude, and unless you brought spare clothes and feel like paying for emergency steam cleaning of this futon, which HAPPENS to be my BED, get off me before I pee my pants you goober.." she giggled. Taylor chuckled and relaxed. "That's a threat if I ever heard one, man.." "Hell yeah it was.." Zac chuckled and jumped up, then gave Jaime a hand up as well. "Make yourself at home..phone's over there.." Jaime said and sprinted for the bathroom. "Jadeleigh, pleeeeease make some coffee?" Jaime's eyes pleaded with her friend to help get rid of the tension in the room. Jade's green eyes sparkled with mischief, but she did as her friend asked. Even with her back turned and the water running she heard the short exchange between Zac and Tay. "Just chill out, Tay. I was just playing with her. Your name's not stamped on her forehead." Zac snapped. "I didn't say it was.." Taylor bit back, clearly annoyed. "You didn't have to.." Zac said not quite under his breath. Taylor grabbed his cell phone out of his jacket pocket and flipped it open, sighed heavily and dialed home. |
| Jade had readily offered to drive Zac and Taylor home, as much to ease the tension between the brothers as to get a chance to see Ike again. Jade knew for a fact that as soon as she dropped these two off, then said hello to Ike and Josh, she'd be right back here on Jaime's futon. The two of them had much to discuss, and for once, Jaime was facing as much dilemma as she was. It was written all over Jaime's face, and she knew Jaime could tell that she wanted to talk. Jaime tucked her hair behind her ears and leaned against the door frame when Taylor hung back from Zac and Jade. She tilted her head and smiled up at him, getting a little lost in the deep blue of his eyes. "Jame?" he asked, grinning widely, "Did you even hear what I said?" "Oh shit. I'm sorry, Tay.." she blushed. "What were you thinking?" he asked. "I was thinking I've never seen eyes as blue as yours and that I was really glad you were here to keep me company and help me wind down. I'd be STILL awake if you hadn't, and I have to be to work a little early tonight." she smiled. "Well. That answers my question.." he sighed disappointed. "What?" she asked, shifting her weight. "I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out later. I have some stuff to do at home but if you have to work.." He looked sincerely disappointed and Jaime couldn't help the grin that spread across her face. "I'd prefer that, but I need to work to feed my music habit...stuff ain't cheap baby." she chuckled. "I know..when can we hang out again?" he asked, hope in his clear blue eyes. "After I get up tomorrow afternoon? I'm usually up by 1." she told him. "And what time do you usually get to bed?" he raised his eyebrow. "Six-thirty. I usually work from 10 to six, four nights a week. Leaves me Friday and Saturday night to play." she shrugged. "Okay. I'll see you around 1:30 tomorrow then." he grinned. "And I want that ride on the bike.." he leaned forward suddenly and kissed her lips softly. She closed her eyes and leaned into him, slipping her arms around his neck. Taylor tenatively opened his mouth and slipped his tongue between her soft lips, then probed more confidently when she responded rather than pushed him away. He slipped his fingers through her hair and pulled her against him, letting the fingers of his other hand spread across the small of her bare back. Jaime had to fight to catch her breath an appear normal when they pulled apart. She gave his shoulders a squeeze, then reached in his jacket pocket for his phone. She quickly punched in her phone number, and held it up for him to see. "I expect to be on speed dial, considering you DID spend the night." she giggled. "Count on it." he grinned. "See you tomorrow, Jame." he kissed her lips softly, letting his linger against hers for a moment. "Kay.." she smiled and tucked her hair behind her ears again. He stood looking into her eyes as if rooted to the spot. "Go before your father beheads you. I'm looking forward to tomorrow." she said, shocking herself. Why was she just letting her guard down like that? 'Jaime if you get your heart ripped out, it'll be your own damn fault.' she admonished herself silently. "Me too.." he kissed her cheek and then sprinted down the walk to Jade's car. "Bye.." she smiled. She caught sight of him as she turned to go inside. He held his cell phone up and grinned. "Anytime.." she called out. Then went inside and shut the door. She flopped down on her futon and snuggled down into the pillows, pulling the blanket up over her shoulder. |
