After his meeting was over, Zac made sure to eat lunch with his family, and spend a few extra minutes with his mother, before he ran back out the door to watch Emma's photo shoot. "I wish she'd come around here more often, Zac." Diana sighed. "I try, Mom." he said and hugged her. "I think we overwhelm her." he grinned. "Well I could see where that would be an explanation." his mother chuckled as the noise level in the house rose considerably. Tay was horsing around with Mackie, making him squeal and grunt as they rolled on the floor. Ike was doing his best WWF ring announcer, while Kim and the girls giggled and yelled encouragement to Mac. "I'll try harder Mom. It's not that she doesn't like you..she says she thinks you're great. Dad too." "We like her too, Zac." his mother answered. "And we miss you." she laid her hand on his arm. Zac shook his head as he strode through th family room to leave. Tay had Mac on the floor and was straddling him, holding his arms with one hand and lifting his shirt to blow raspberries on his belly with the other, while Mac kicked and squealed and struggled to get out of his brother's grasp. "Jeez Mac!" Zac complained, "Open up a can of whoop ass on him.." "I'm trying.." Mac grunted. "Need back up buddy?" Zac asked. "Yeah..." he grunted back. "Ike's useless.." That made Zac laugh and he pounced on Taylor, adding to the noise level in the house. "Pick on someone your own size you bully.." Zac told Taylor as he straddled him the way Tay had straddled Mac. "Go to town, Mac.." Zac grinned down at Tay, and then laughed out loud as Mac blew raspberries on Taylor's belly. Taylor's face ws flushed and his eyes were squeezed shut as he laughed and tried to struggle away from Zac, Ike and the girls cheering wildly. The clock in the hall chimed and Zac hollered, "Round 3!! We win Mac!!!" he jumped up and let Tay up too. "I gotta go, man.." Zac ruffled Mac's hair. "Dude, where you goin' NOW?" Tay asked. "Emma's on a photo shoot, isn't she?" "Yeah...gonna watch. It's cool, she doesn't even look like the same sandy-haired, surf babe when they get through with her." he said, amazed at the transformation they'd made in her the last time he'd watched. He almost thought he was in the wrong place until she saw him and smiled. The hairstylist had straightened her hair and she'd had a lot of black eyeliner on, something she NEVER wore. He decided then that he preferred her all sandy and windblown, but she always looked drop-dead gorgeous for photos and video shoots.  "You can come with, if you want.." Zac told Taylor. "Kay.." he said, grabbed his jacket, kissed his mom, and said goodbye to everyone else in the house.
Tay and Zac made their way through the group of people standing in the way and onto the set. They could hear the photographer talking to Emma, and grinned at each other, having been in her shoes before. Some of the things they say to get the look they want you to have, could have the complete opposite effect, or just make you dissolve into a fit of laughter. They leaned against a wall to watch and it was Tay's turn to be amazed. Zac was right, Emma did NOT look like her usual, sexy, care-free self. She was sexy alright, but she did look like an entirely different person. Her hair was stick straight, and she had more makeup on than he'd ever seen her wear, but it complemented her perfect features and made her green eyes stand out, almost blindingly. Once again he had to watch his thoughts, she had to be doing a lingirie ad of all things. Then he shook his head slightly, and wondered if Jen would be interested in what Emma was doing. The thought of them doing a shoot like this together made him feel like a complete pervert, their dark and light contrast would be a HUGE turn-on, though, both being extremely beautiful women. He noticed that Zac was rearranging his stance and chuckled to himself. Then Emma turned for the photographer and noticed they were there. Her face broke into a huge smile, blindingly pretty, and the pfotographer groaned. "Emma...love....we need, dark, sexy..." he whined at her. "Hey my face is about to fall off..." she griped back. "And I'm sweating even in this floss. My face will get shiny...can't we take a five minute break? I wanna say hello to two of my favorite musicians. Then I'll be good, I promise love.." she grinned and teased the photographer. "Please?" she batted her very dark mascara coated lashes at him. "Oooooh there it is..." the photographer grinned and snapped about four pictures before he answered her. "Okay gorgeous, take five..." he smiled and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. She slipped on a short robe and padded on bare feet over to the brothers. "Hi..." she grinned, taking Zac's hand. "I'd kiss you, but all hell would break loose if my lipstick smeared." she giggled. "Hi Tay." "Umm..yeah..hi..do I know you?" Tay teased looking around. "I came to say hello to a girl with wild curly hair and is usually covered in sand." "Oh shut up dork.." Emma laughed. "Oh it is YOU.." he grinned back. "Seriously, Emma. You look great." Tay told her.
"Thanks. But I'm tired of this shoot already..moron won't let me crack a smile at all...not sexy he says..." she rolled her eyes. "And he is the goofiest one out of all of 'em so far. I can't fucking keep a straight face." she complained, ready to laugh again. "LISTEN TO HIM.." she ordered as he called everyone back from their break. Tay and Zac stood back to watch the shoot and they were hard pressed to keep from dissolving in the background. Emma was right, and it was even funnier to watch her try to keep a straight face. A few times she locked eyes with Zac, and managed to keep from smiling, though her eyes sparkled with mischeif. Taylor could tell Zac knew what she was doing, by the fact that he had his lips pressed together so he wouldn't laugh, but Zac gave her the same sort of eye contact she was giving him. Fortunately, that made the shoot go faster and she was finally finished. They waited for her to change clothes and then piled into Zac's
truck to pick up Jen and Hannah, so they could go to Tay and Zac's for a family dinner.
"JEN--NY MY WOMAN!!" Emma hollered as she burst into the apartment. "Where the hell are you? I'm hungry...let's go..." Tay and Zac both chuckled nd stood back to let the girls get it out of their system. "JUST A MINUTE YOU IMPATIENT WENCH!!!" Jen hollered back from the bathroom. "HEY!! Who you callin' wench? Wanna take it outside? Wouldn't want that cute little baby of yours to see me humilate you.." Emma giggled. "BRING IT ON BABY..." Jenny teased as she emerged from the bathroom. "She's not here to see me give her sweet 'auntie Em' rug burns on her face.." Taylor and Zac looked at each other and grinned. "Easy girls..." Tay teased. "Yeah..." Zac added, "We can just set you up a mud wrestling ring right here...Tay...go make popcorn.." he shoved his brother. "Oh yeaaahh...I'm right on that...get the mud.." he wiggled his eyebrows. Jen and Emma looked shocked for a second, then burst into laughter. "Good God.." they groaned in unison.
"Where is my little bundle of a happy, jack-o-lantern lookin' niece anyway?" Emma asked. "Miracle of miracles.." Jen laughed. "Since Hannah's been in daycare, and Tay can handle her when she's teething, my mother actually begged me to let her have her for the weekend. Who am I to keep the child from her one and only grandma?" she over dramatized, making everyone laugh. "She really does need to spend some time with her grandma, and I can't remember the last time I left the house without feeling like I was hauling luggage.." she grinned.
"That's good of your mom, Jen. I just wanted to smooch the little munchkin'. I haven't seen her all week." "I'll let you slober all over her as soon as Mom brings her back, babe." Jen teased.
"So..." Tay began slowly, "What do you want to do with all that free time?" he smiled. "Actually.." she gave Tay a seductive smile, "I was going to suggest.." she paused for a moment, then grinned more widely, "Surfing my damn head off! Haha..Hannah likes the beach but you just can't get those awesome waves with a baby on your hip.." she joked. "No way..Jen...you surf?" Tay asked. "Well DUH!" she put her hand on her hip. "Do you think I'd have been able to keep a friendship with Emma this long if I didn't? The girl had to be DRAGGED from the ocean, ask Zac.." Emma and Zac locked eyes and Emma grinned  sheepishly. "Besides, I can outsurf the skank.." she looked at Emma challengingly. "NOT!" Emma replied. "Too rusty..you haven't been in a while, you'll be eatin' some serious beach, baby.." Emma giggled. Tay and Zac looked at each other. "I guess we know what we're doing tomorrow.." Tay said. "Aww.. it's cool with me, my new board's ready. We have to stop and get it on our way home." Zac replied. "ZAC!" Emma squealed like a kid in a candy store. "Really? It's ready?" she asked. "Yep. We can reserve Tay and Jen's board's and suits while we're there." "Sweet." Emma replied with a grin. "I can't wait to see it." "You are one goofy girl...you HAVE your board..." Zac teased and kissed the top of her head. Jen put her hand on her hip and looked at Emma expectantly. "Oops, I'm in trouble.." Emma giggled. "I was gonna tell you when I saw you. Wait till you see what he had done." she beamed a bright smile at Zac. "Well let's go, then." Tay said, taking Jen's hand. "Let's go see the mysterious board and then have dinner at my house. Mom's making a big deal of it." he grinned.
