Carbon Film Resistors (CFRs)

The WC Series of Watts Carbon Film Resistors are manufactured using mechanised high vacuum carbonising plants. This ensures a stable resistive film. The resistors are insulated with layers of light brown lacquer. The WC Series offer a wide range of power ratings - 0.20 W, 0.25 W , 0.35 W , 0.5 W, 1 W , 2 W and 3 W with a tolerance of + - 5%.

Approvals

Watts make Carbon Film Resistors (CFRs) have been approved by many leading OEMs in different sectors of electronics. These have also been tested at ERTL of Dept. of Electronics.

Watts make high-wattage carbon film resistors (1W and 2W) have been approved by both LCSO and CACT.

Watts make 1/4 W + - 1% 100 ppm Metal Film Resistors have been approved by LCSO for use in Defence sector.

Further, Watts make 1/8 W and 1/4 W MFRs have also been approved by CACT for use in Telecom sector.

The entire range of Watts MFRs have been approved by C-DOT for use in rural automatic exchanges, main automatic exchanges and other equipment developed as per C-DOT design.
