The organization has the following objectives:

a) To provide a common venue for students of the University of the Philippines interested in energy resources and energy conservation to share their views and ideas.

b) To organize activities that shall enhance the knowledge and interest of members and non-members alike in energy conservation and non-conventional energy resources.

c) To provide a pool of concerned individuals which people may turn to for assistance in the solution to energy utilization problems.

d) To support the U.P. Solar Laboratory’s efforts in promoting any energy-related issue/activity.

e) To support the Department of Energy’s efforts in promoting the use of renewable energy resources such as sun, wind, water, geothermal energy and biomass, and in solving energy problems and issues.

f) To support the government’s efforts in promoting the optimal utilization of energy resources in the country.
