~DIFFERENT FAERIES~

within the Faerie realms, there are also many different ones.They have different sizes, but there is a thing they all have in common; they are properly camouflaged for anyone who wants to hurt these beautiful little creatures. It would be nice to know though what kind of Faeries there are, wouldn't it? well, check down here if you've ever seen a little Faerie..or a big one of course..:) *Pixies* Cheerful and mischievous, they often take the form of a hedgehog. They're also well known for their jokes and pranks. They adore music and dancing, singing or play music for them would be a good way to get these lovely beings in your house. *Goblins* Viscious little ones that can appear as animals. Make a scary carving in a squash or celery root glowing with canlde lite to keep these away from your home, because they can do much harm. I know I had them, *giggle*, I had insomnia then..but I solved it by talking to someone who really knew a lot of them and told me how to get rid of them. thank you Amorphous..*giggle* *Leprechauns* Irish faeries which are very cunning, they are usually found among the clover. An offering of Ale is most welcome to these little ones, maybe you can even get one to come with you this way..:) *Elves* the most populair species, they are the scandinavian form of Faeries. Rich sweets as an offering will bring you abundance to come. Elves vary in sizes, they can be as big as you, but they can also be as tiny as your finger. *Sidhe* Irish Faeries who are attrected to beauty. Roses and Elecampagne attract them to your garden. My former neighbour across the street must have had them, he had gorgious roses, but they died with him. *Sprites* Spirit faeries, their job is to change the colour of the leaves in the fall, and man, I can say they were eager to start this year. You will often find them wearing acorn hats. *Dwarves* Mostly found in the mountains, they often steal not only property, but it is said women and children aswell. Beware these little devils, I haven't found anything yet you can do against it, but as soon as I have found it, I'll put it up. *Dryads* Celtic spirit Faeries of the trees. You can find them in hollows of trees when the Moon is at it's fullest. They are often well-camouflaged, green with leaves and strings of sticks across their bodies. *Gnomes* They are forest-creatures. They are the guardians of sacred grounds, locations and monuments. They have a little weakness for gem stones, as i recall, coins and glittery thingies..They are the knowers and are extremely clever. make a magickal offering to the Gnome and ask for 'Earthly' Favors. *Sylphs* Spirit faeries of the air. They are transparant and elusive, very hard to see or spot. They seem to be surrounded by a beautiful glow. They love acts of courage and quick movements, impulsive persons..ake an offering to a Sylph and ask for 'Earthly' Favors. *Selkies* Usually found in seas and oceans. They first appear as seals but become beautiful women when they shed their skin. It is not really known if these are bad or good Faeries. Someone who can tell me, let me know! *Undines* Spirit faries of the water, usually found in forest pools and waterfalls. they have beautiful voices and can sometimes be heard singing over the sound of the water. An offering of perfume will keep them in your favor. Love rules in this 'watery' creature. Now, these were all the Faeries I could think of, and have found on the web.
