My belief is that you get a sign in your life, knowing the time has come to begin your studies of the Craft. Let me tell you how it happened to me: I had always been interested in Witches and stuff, I always liked the things other people didn't like, and I wore clothes which were mostly out of the ordinairy, ghehe...and i had some trouble with that, but hey, every kid get's picked on in the first years of his life sometimes. well, and then when i was 12 I met my cusin Kendra_Nyte, who had lived in South Africa and now came to live here, and we got along immediately. The first time she was here, she told me about her being a pagan, and I knew it felt right, so when she asked me to join her in Wicca, my answer was yes of course. Now I've been a Wicca for almost 3 years and I love it. It has made me more honest, respectful, calmer, and it has given me support and confidence. Of course, what you can gain from it is different for everyone, some people gain happiness, and some just comfort. It's so large, that's what makes it a religion for everyone. I just hope someday we no longer have to hide from who we are, and that we can say proudly; I am a Wicca, and I'm proud of it, and no-one will look at you with a glance of hatred, jaleousy or misunderstanding.
