SONATA ARCTICA

**SUCCESSOR**

Maybe we were afraid to wait long for the new album..well..fear not friends, Sonata Arctica hasn't kept us waiting too long, a year after Ecliptica was released, they came with a new record, named Successor. I don't think it is quite as strong as Ecliptica, but that could be because I am completely Ecliptica addicted, I cannot hear that CD enough :) In any case, Successor contains a lot of Live tracks, but it is a shame that they weren't released on the versions they sell here. The Japanese and Finnish bonus tracks should just be normal tracks to my opinion. The live tracks were recorded at the Provinssirock Festival, 16th of June 2000. I do like Successor a lot, it is just a shame that there are many tracks on the album which are already on Ecliptica, there are actually 4 new songs on it from the 11 on the album.. I just hope next time they will come with completely new songs :) I have NEEDS too you know ;) hahaha
