    KEY QUALIFICATION    
    At present I am working as medical officer in the Department of Neurology in The Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM) covering general neurology out-patients, in-patients, Stroke clinic, Neuropathy clinic, Epilepsy clinic, movement disorder and Diabetics patients.

 

    
    Started my career as Emergency Medical Officer in BIRDEM Hospital in 1995 after obtaining MBBS from Sir Salimullah medical college under University Dhaka.
   
    I have vast experience in diagnosing neurological disorders without much Para clinical assistance in the only referral neurology center in Bangladesh. This center has a general neurology outpatient department and specialized clinics on movement disorders, epilepsy, headache and stroke where 17,000-18,000 neurological patients attend every year. It has 40 indoor beds where 300-600 patients are admitted and treated every year. I had to attend almost every day to see patients. My job was full-time residential and had to attend emergencies and referrals as well. I had a private practice on general neurology, Diabetes, Internal medicine, tropical medicine where as expected I had to see a huge number of patients every day.

I obtained FCPS(Medicine) part-I degree from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS),1998. I have obtained my MD (Doctor of Medicine) from Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (IPGM&R) under University in July’2004
