When I first saw the synopsis and promo art for Don't Leave Me Alone Daisy on express.com, I was immediately intrigued by the type of love story it represents : a boy unlearned in the emotions of love falling in love with a girl who could very well be his savior from solitude. But when you add in characters like Rarako-sensei, Anii-san, Yamakawa X, anthropomorphic missiles Mimi and Bear, and of course, Techno, himself, you immediately realize that you're in for a wild new twist on the typical recluse meets girl...
I admit, when I saw the first signs of Digimon, I groaned, remembering the shallow plot of Pokemon. But my first actual viewing of it much later changed my outlook on it entirely...
Digimon: The Movie is a amalgam of 3 Digimon OVAs or movie shorts from Japan, with one taking place before Digimon Series 1, one not long after Digimon 1, and the last seemingly after Digimon 2. Whether or not the 3 films were threaded as they were in the movie, I enjoyed what FoxKids did with the overall finished film.
