History:
The Crusaders of Antioch are a non-codex chapter. They follow the organisational structure and ethics of the society of their home planet “Pannonia” –albeit on a much smaller scale.

Colour Scheme:
The chapter’s armour is painted halved blue and orange. The chapter badge is the Greek letter ‘X’, normally painted in white on the right shoulder. On the corner of the right shoulder pad is normally a glyph to indicate the marine’s weapon speciality, be it the bolter, missile launcher, CC Weapons or some other esoteric offensive machinery.

Chapter Organisation
The chapter is divided into three groups called Maniples; these are comprised of two Centuries commanded by the more senior Centurion (Company Captain). Each Century contains between 60 and 100 marines, depending on casualties and new recruits. Centuries consist of three groups, the Hasasti (scouts and assault marines), the Principes (tactical and devastator marines) and the Triarii (veterans and terminators)

This is a diagram of the organisation of the chapter.

Vehicles, ‘Equites’ are organised outside of the regular troop system under the command of the Head Mechanic, part of the massive Administratum behind the Crusaders of Antioch that does not take part personally in battle. Marines are taken from the ranks of the Principes and Hasasti and are trained in the use and maintenance of vehicles. Each Maniple has access to 3 Dreadnaught-class Walkers, 3 Land Raider APCs, 8 Predator MBTs, 8 Razorback APCs and the chapter pool of Rhino APCs. Dreadnaught-class mechs are the most widespread bipedal marine-piloted war mechs. Very few "Dreadnaughts" were passed down from the Primogenitor chapters of the first founding through to their successors. In the Crusaders of Antioch, "Dreadnaughts" are non-Adeptus Mechanicus designs of Pannonian origin adapted for battlefield usage.

Chapter Master Lucius Aurelian
Aurelian is a relatively young and charismatic Chapter Master. He carries the long bladed halberd "Gladius" crafted by the famed tech-priests of Pekin IX, which was gifted to the Crusaders for freeing their world. He also carries a combat shield with incorporated storm-bolter made by his own mechanics.

Famed for his inspiring speeches, he provokes hate in the enemy and outstanding loyalty and zealousness in his own troops. He can often be seen at the forefront of the battle - cutting through the enemy like a whirling dervish of destruction.

In game terms, he is best represented by a Captain with a Power Weapon/Fist, Combat Shield, Storm Bolter and Tactical Dreadnaught Armor.

Optional Special Rule: Once per battle during the movement phase Aurelian can forgo any combat and instead give a rousing speech. His troops will be able to charge an extra D6" but the enemy will be unbreakable throughout the turn.
