I graduated from Yakima Valley Community College in June of 1999 with an AA degree in Veterinary Technology. I took my board exams and passed them on the first attempt (yeah me!) so I am a licensed Vet Tech (animal nurse) in WA state, and am currently working at Lincoln Veterinary Clinic in Yakima.
I was in the dog 4-H program from the time I was 7 years old. I started out with a male Flat-coated Retriever named Sparky. After he retired I went to his daughter Abby. After Abby came her son Mark. Mark became a “helping paws” dog for Margo Place of Pasco Washington. I also used two Paps in 4-H, Oliver and QB. My last year in the 4-H program saw me using Oliver and QB as an obedience brace. My sister Crystal also showed her Flat-coat Sheba and her Pap Tigger in the 4-H program. Our 13-year old brother Michael is also in the dog 4-H program and is also currently showing his male Pap Snoopy at AKC shows. Ours has been a definite family affair.
In June of 2002, I acquired a gorgeous young bitch named London (see her picture below) from Karen Murad of Krystal Papillons. In April of 2003, I picked up a lovely 7 month old sable bitch named Breezy (see her picture below-she is the first bitch in line) from Janis McLaren of La Ren Papillons. I hope to do my part to better the breed, and will work to improve on those issues that we all strive to make better. Please watch for us at AKC shows in the Pacific Northwest region, and stop to say hi.

Krystal London Fog "London" 9 months
"Spike" (2 years),"London" (9 months), "Snoopy" (2 years), Snoopy and Spike are full brothers and are half brothers to London. They share the same sire, "Devon" owned by Karen Murad. Snoopy and Spike are owned by my brother, Michael Gilbert, Karisma Papillons, in Cowiche Wa.

CH Arbeitsheim Oliver CGC "Oliver" 10 years old. Oliver was my very first Papillon and he is an absolute sweetheart. His daughter Arbeitsheim Amazing Grace, owned by Harry Palmer, went Best Puppy In Sweeps at the 1994 National Papillon Specialty.
