While I've left Sze Wah's band, I've formed a new band with Ronny (Guitar), Jerry (Bass) and Lam (Drums), while beginning we've played a lot of cover songs, and no specifly what band we target on, we've played Street Spirit ~ Radiohead, Living Dead ~ Suede and while we went to ar Kuen's band room, he affected us so much of hard rock in 80's... Michael Schenker Group (MSG), Deep Purple, and we've began to hear some speed guitar from Yngwie Malmsteen and Joe Satriani, Steve Vai... (Ha, just heard bout' that, not play ~.~) Whiskey in the jar ~Thin Lizzy is one of our fav. , tempo not very high, and easy to keep in beat, and Armed and Ready ~ MSG was Ronny's fav. cuz' the hard rock feel and the Solo was excited him, so we've kept practisin' and the show Music is... 豁達 99' Live band contest was comin', with some bands formed in IVE which all kool! and I think we were the worst one... but everytime while I've finished the show I've most confidence bout' my performance. ^-^
The name TEAR JERKER was used while Ronny listened to Red Hot Chilli Peppers, a song in Red Hot Minute, so the band name was formed, and lots of shows - Music Infinite, more Mr Big's ballad covers Wildworld & To be with U the most classic and easy-playin' songs, and some beyond's songs there : 再見理想, 歲月無聲 和 罪, which with ar Yip of guitar~
There's many frds of hair design while we've studied in IVE, Nancy, Snow girl, Brother Chung, Chiu Chuen, Sister Ching, and a lot,they helped us a lot, and add colors in our life in those days...
Life in IVE was easy... 8:00a.m. arrived school, while we've ticked the attendance, we went to the 055 (band room) just outside of canteen, we'd finished our breakfast firstly, and play guitar all the day...
Songs from Ozzy~ the masterpieces we've ever heard, we've heard that by the Artist, they've performed Crazy Train, and Ronny loves Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wyide much that their Guitar drove him crazy... and Skid Row songs affected us so much, by their crazy guitar and the most crazy Vocal~ Sebastian Bach, made me reachin' the destination of high pitch vocal road continuously...
Singin' contest 99' in IVE we've invited by Ivy - the student council supervisor (Hey! dunno her title!) she was the supporter of all our band shows, and we've added Back for good ~ Take That, and J-rock stuff 誘惑 ~ Glay in the shows, and that was the last show of our IVE life...
Patience ~ Guns n' Roses, one of my fav. song in IVE, cuz' that's my feelin' for Chi, the lyrics told what the feelin' I miss her, and I've took our relationship too fast, and rough, so I sang Patience to notice myself bout' this... (Hey, finally we've separated, but we've shared happy time~) and a ballad song ~ Waitin' for U, wrote for her, and describe how I care...
While the time played Singin' contest, we've met 2 ppls whose very important in our band life... ar Toon (Bass) and Stephen (Drums), and those guys formed a new rock band and play self-compose songs, and the new Tear Jerker was formed.
cuz' Stephen was the chief of guitar club in Morrison IVE, so we was always there while we've left Shatin IVE, and we've met ar Cat there, and ar Cat's college frd Siu Yan, she made me wrote lots of songs...
冬夜~ Verse melody from Stephen, and the arrangement Tear Jerker, was wrote in the Christmas of 1999, the lovin' mood I thought was from her, and
By my side~ the lyrics was described the feelin' of mine, that she made me so upset that time...
不改變 ~ one of a song made me so hard to reach the key... Music by Stephen, and Words by me...
Forever childhood~ a song from Ronny, Words and Music, and It's a wonderful ballad that we took this for our competition song of soundbase 2000, but finally we've forgotton the competition place and lost the chance...
And ar Toon said he wanna be a guitarist more than a bassist, so he left the band and form a new one, and we've to found a new bassist, for our shows in FWFT soon...
That's the wonderful year ~ 2001, me and Ronny and EGN was established a band room of us, and we've shared our precious time of friendship and Music affection inside... I and Fur, Ben those old frds there, our first band ~ Stroller and Wanderlust seems to reform again... they've forgiven my rude bout' yesterday, and smile to writin' some new best music with me... Summer City (Summer 2001) was wrote for this, and the melody of Ronny, we've arranged it again, Gipsy Black Magic wrote for a mystery journey of a kid, some Gipsy feelin' use lots of harmonic minor, and Gipsy child was formed while this song was wrote.
Ronny stay with me for our new melodies, creative and affection in our brain would make us writin' lots of songs... for above~
