   Wayne Wallace , Age 45 -
   Climbing Career spans 35 years -
   I enjoy all disciplines of the sport from numerous big wall ascents to expedition alpine.
   I have climbed many of the major alpine routes in the western states, as well as many in Canada and Alaska.
  Hundreds of  "New Routes"  of all variety
  Major summit ridge traverses in the Cascades including the first traverses of both South and Northern Picket Ranges, and at age 17 climbed 9 peaks between Mt.Hood To Broken Top in 1 trip
  Awards:  Received the first ever 2004 Fred Becky Award from the
American Alpine Club. He has written and published feature articles in the American Alpine Journal and written feature articles in the Northwest Mountain Journal as well. Now, arent I just swell?

   Other voluntary work: I taught outdoor skills in several youth organizations for over 10 years. I also enjoy giving slide shows .

Here,I hope you find inspiration in your climbing career.In this site I will share some of my accomplishments, insights, photos, and passion I have for the great sport of climbing.
       I am a 45 y/o Carpenter foreman with a great construction company,
McClone Construction. I have a sweet 17 year old daughter who can be bribed into climbing with me. We live in a highrise condo in the U-district of  Seattle.
