We drove out to Blacksburg to see David

We went to the Louisville Slugger factory.  They have the world's biggest bat.

Everybody got a little bat.  Notice that the sculpture is a glove and ball.

That evening we stopped at the Daniel Boone National Forest to walk around a little.

It was starting to get dark.

Amy, you should like David's ironing board cover.

We hiked to the Cascades Waterfall.

David climbed out onto this rock in a stream.

On the trail to the waterfall

Dad is enjoying his bench time.

Back at the parking lot.

Thomas Jefferson's beanpoles.

Mom and David going into Monticello.

At Thomas Jefferson's grave.

At the Michie Tavern, where we had an overpriced colonial lunch.  But it was historic !!

At James Monroe's estate.

This tree is over 200 years old.  At James Monroe's estate.
Dad is not quite that old.

This is to prove we went on the Appalachian Trail.

Dad liked this old train.  It was in Huntington West Virginia.
Dad wanted to see the Wayne National Forest.
At the Indy raceway.
Dad has the pagoda on his shoulder.
Dad is ready to take a few laps.
At the Indy raceway.

Home again.  To get the car to show as green, I had to make the house pink!
