Had a very good game.Although he played at the back, was probably our biggest threat going forward. *Man of the Match*

Confident display by one of the best defenders in the league.

Great work up and down the right hand side. Never gave up, and our attack down the right side looked very dangerous.

Took a while to get into the game, and was involved in all of our goals. Scored a contender for goal of the season.

Did very well. Everything was coming through Brendan in the middle. Played every pass simple, and broke up their attack on many occasions.

Had to do more defending than usual, but was well capable.

Harolds Cross were very difficult to break down & after we got our first Niall killed them off with two lovely goals.

Worked very hard, closing players down. Unlucky not to score early on. Made a couple of great chances for himself and his team-mates.

Managers Thoughts

Looked like we weren't going to win this one for a very long time. Harolds Cross didn't really offer much threat going forward, but defensively were superb. The lads never gave up, and with Brendan the driving force in the middle, got rewarded with about ten minutes left. A good win.
