Brownrider P'rar's Persona Sheet

Played by: Krista

Name: P’rar
Age: 32
Gender: male
Sexuality: hetero
Rank: brown wingrider

Physical/Personality Description: P’rar looks like your average brownrider. His hair is cut very close, and is light brown in color. Eyes are alert and also light brown. He stands at 5’7”. He doesn’t look particularly strong for a dragonrider, but undoubtedly has the dragonrider’s strength.
P’rar’s problem is that he despises authority, loves to complain, and thinks everything could always be better somehow. Those alert eyes of his? Always on the lookout for something to snitch about, or rolling around as if whoever in charge is the biggest fool ever. Of course, P’rar is far too intelligent to directly challenge a leader. He’s far better at sewing seeds of discontent among his fellow dragonriders or the drudges or anyone he comes in contact with. He always is on the lookout for someone he can bring to his same mindset.
For that reason, P’rar is a friendly-type man. He always greets the newcomers with open arms, a friendly smile, and words of advice that are actually true and helpful. After he gains their trust is when he strikes. OOoohhhh, you want to know why that Wingleader is always so cheery? Well, let me tell you…
P’rar is a sneaky fellow. But look at him. He’s so painfully normal. Someone so everyday couldn’t possibly be trying to overturn everything in his path. No, really. He couldn’t!

Family: Well, he did at one time. But, harrumph… Let him tell you how his love was stolen from him from that leader over there…

History: P’rar was one of those fellows who actually came to Lirac Weyr along with some of the first riders. He’s originally from Telgar Weyr and, like most dragonriders, had a very difficult time coping with the new Pass. He, of course, had to cope with this thread-stuff AND get used to a Weyr that hadn’t even been built.
P’rar thinks he’s something special for that. Why, he was around when every dragonrider had to fight in every threadfall and they still had to have extra help from the Northern Weyrs. He knows what Lirac is really made of. Oh, and because he’s such a friendly fellow, P’rar himself was chosen to help many of the new transfers the first few turns of Lirac’s existence.
He never got to be in a leadership position, and for sure that was a bad mistake on the original leadership’s part, but they all recognized his ability to help the new guys out, and in a new Weyr in a new Pass with a LOT of new guys, that was an important job. Not to mention he got to corrupt people right away.
Then Telenth caught Renarth, and there went P’rar’s position. That stupid T’nel, insisting on helping the newcomers himself or having Wingleaders do it. To be sure, that was tradition’s way, but they could all be doing something BETTER with their time.
So P’rar has been around Lirac Weyr for ten turns, nobody recognizing his superior leadership skills. Fine. He has been behind the scenes, keeping riders unhappy. If he can’t be, there’s no reason for them to be. And he will continue to gossip and connive and complain best he can. Not that anyone SUSPECTS. Oh, no. P’rar is careful not to be caught.
