Shadow's Own Doggie Page!

Shadow is a 4 year old spayed female Rhodesian Ridgeback, we adopted her from her breeder who took her back when her owners decided that they didn't want her anymore. She is really a sweet dog, just needed some training and manners. I think she was let to do whatever she wanted. She is very smart though and is catching on quickly to our routine. Simba is a bit jealous, but he plays with her and is getting used to having her here. Also Shadow is a unusual color for a ridgeback, the black & tan was one of the original colors of the breed along with brindles and blues (like a Weimereiner) but when they established the standard those colors where not accepted and so were no longer bred but they do pop-up occasionally as with Shadow.
