He married twice. He married Aurelia Marie Falcon in Smoke Bend, Louisiana, January 18, 1928.

and Leoncia Marie Savoy. Aurelia died August 4, 1951 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, at 42 years of
age. Her body was interred August 5, 1951 in Donaldsonville, Ascension, Louisiana.. Aurelia was a religious woman and
everyone that knew her seemed to have much respect for her. Once when she was a young girl, she almost drown in Bayou Lafouche but was
saved by a man named Sam Rodrigue. Walter and Aurelia liked to dance and were good dancers. She died of cancer.
He married Judith Hebert 1952. Judith was born in Pierre Part, Assumption Parish, Louisiana,

Her body was interred December 15, 1994 in Pierre Part, Assumption Parish, Louisiana, USA. Judy was born on a houseboat. She
grew up on this houseboat around Grassey Lake which is near Lake Verrett. They picked moss and fished for a living. Judy had a stroke in
1984 leaving her left side paralyzed and she could not talk. Walter worked 33 years for Exxon. He worked on the river for several years
before going to the Baton Rouge Refinery. He went as far north as Cairo, Ill. and south to the Gulf of Mexico. He retired as a pipefitter.
He first started working early in life and unfortunately had to support his Mother, brothers, and sister so he couldn't go to school. There
were times when he worked from sunrise to sunset for 25 cents a day. Walter and Aurelia liked to dance and were good dancers. Playing cards
and gambling in general was something he liked to do. Other than that I think the only other thing he liked to do was work. Walter died
