Her body was interred July 28, 1998 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. Edward worked many jobs. He worked on a farm, at a sugar mill, service station, Avon Plantation, floated logs, and picked moss before going to Exxon in 1943. Edward retired from Exxon on March 1, 1981, after 37 years and 8 months.
