{1} Kenta Kobashi substituted for Great Muta during bout due to Muta also defending NWA World title the same night.
{2} Stripped of titles by NWA due to not being able to defend them. (Road Warrior Animal had a back injury keeping him from the ring)
{3} Winners of an International tournament to fill vacant championship.
{4} Championship vacant due to NWA inactivity.
{5} Tournament final over Rick & Scott Steiner.
{6} On March 19, 1999 in Corvallis, Oregon, Chris Mann defeated the Crazy Ones in a handicapped match to apparently win the World tag team championship.  NWA President Don Owens returned the titles to The Crazy Ones claiming Mann pinned the wrong man.
{7} Axel Hagar and Martin Bauer were stripped of the titles after failing to defend them.
(8) The titles were vacated when The Dudley Boyz left the NWA.
(9) Tournament final over Techno Shock to win the vacant titles
