College Business Meeting Notes: 1/2/99

Attendees: Liadain, Ramon, Selena, Trahearn, Lissete, Jean-Phillipe, Sonnet, Badger, Matthias, Fiona, Beth, Karisa, Spike the Ferret, Hercules the girl cat, and introducing Luna, the new Ferret.

=~ The constable rang in with two O-yays... Followed immediately by a third O-yay after being threatened with a pencil and the meeting was off, boy was it off, to a rollicking good start.

=~ The first item was brought forth by Ramon, asking if the college was interested in doing something at Lionhearts, maybe something along the "learning" theme. Then it was noticed that Ramon was licking his clothes to get them hot. (Don’t Ask!) Classes were suggested, Gordon, Badger, La Menegue (sp) were all suggested as possible teachers. The idea will be kicked around some more. (those meanies!) Setup and Cleanup were also suggested as possible things to help with.

=~ The big item on everyone’s minds, ok, so the Ferrets didn’t really care, but everyone else did... Was the Upcoming Feast of Saint Bunstable. The timetable was discussed, and the autocratted appeared frantic (give her a break it was her first time..) Matthias came in with an appropriately timed "Easy Killer, its ok..." and the autocrat subsided a bit. Polite Cloven Fruit was discussed. The College threatened to taunt the autocrat for some reason I didn’t write down and the discussion drew to a close, after every one let the autocrat know it was ok, and they were all going to show up.

~ Badger mentioned he was working on doing the HUB display again, and he would let everyone know more later.

=~ Matthias is a gentleman, and gets two chairs for the latecomers.

=~ JP volunteered to make truffles for the next meeting, and we all worshipped him.

=~ The Monroe School Demo was mentioned, and many people said they would hopefully help when more details were made apparent.

=~ Officers Changed around! Ramon quit as constable, became A&S Minister JP became college constable for about 3 days, Megan-Brenna is going to be the herald. Sometime later our Protector (Indigo Hall) volunteered to become constable.

=~ We broke up into groups surrounding books, and lots of "oooh, check out this picture" happened. Truffels were consumed, and we all had fun....

Meeting Minutes: October 1998

Attendance: Sonnet, Ramon, Liadain, Megan Brenna, Trevor, Kia, Badger, Hercules the Girl Cat, and Spike the Ferret made a brief appearance, and was promptly passed around. Hosts offered up a bucket of brownies, and there was much noshing to be had. (not Thooose kind of brownies..) Sonnet dug through stuff in preparation for the demo. Sonnet asked for input on the demo. And there was input. Then we gossiped a bunch. Ramon popped out his eye, and was sent to the bathroom to fix it. The candidates were discussed, and their bio’s were read. Sonnet solicited volunteers to work on the new banner, but none were forthcoming... Next meeting is the Nov. 30th. Ramon got distracted by marshmallows.

Student Activities Fair Demo notes:
Attended by Sonnet, Badger, Megan Brenna, Ramon, and Fiona. Yay!! Our Mistress of A&S re-appeared. (no puff of smoke, but dramatic none the less :) She mentioned a chance to view original manuscripts in UW archives, and we were suitably eager.
Also suggested that we get together and research stuff in the UW libraries.
Badger is interested in doing a HUB display.
Fiona ‘wonders’ about the Feast of Saint Bunstable, and winds up autocrat. Jan. 16th chosen as tentative date for it. Badger is assisting in the Autocratting, and Megan Brenna is going to assist in the cooking.
Oh yeah, and four interested people signed up. Many flyers were handed out.
