The Leap Year Show
The first real Jammin' with Jim show was done because Jim's friend, Matt Lindauer, asked him for a couple of songs that Jim already had in his collection. But of course, he couldn't just tape those songs, he had to make a radio show! So the real Jammin' with Jim show was born. This is the first WCJM broadcast to be recorded digitally, as Jim recorded the show onto a MiniDisc. But, this is also the first show to be put on a CD, because it was transferred after the MD was recorded. This show was done on February 29th, 2000 on the day that is added to the year every four years. So, as Jim said on the air, "It's a weird kind of show, on a weird kind of day, with a weird kind of guy- that's me, Jim Fusco." This was a show full of twin spins, where two songs from the same artist are played in a row. Jim vows to make this show an every four year tradition!
