Richard's Stuff

Short Stories: My only finished work, and the only stuff really worth reading. Most of them have some kind of twist, and are quire cerebral, relating to some concept bit of science I find interesting. In general, I care more about ideas and setting than plot or characters.

I like subtle stories that make a point. Read this carefully and think it over. It helps if you have a working knowledge of history, sociology, and medicine:
Alternate Reality: Drugs

A moral dilemma here: Assuming that the science is correct, are the actions of the doctors right or wrong?
Candy Test

This story, like the previous one, is simply meant to provoke thought. I am not taking sides, nor am I saying that this really happens:
Treatment 8242

This one is different. It is a pensive first-person narrarive and commentary:
Magic Mirror

I'll upload more stuff later, including fragments of longer stories and some other random junk.
