Teen Fads: How intense have they gone?
Many teens these days are talking about things that might be offensive to some parents; they talk about their sexual encounters with other people, how they got through it (or HOW THEY DID IT), and what they’re going to encounter whom now. I have heard many of these things... "Britney Spears has a nice voice" is just another way for saying "Britney Spears has a nice booty".

I’ve heard of crushes, and even heard "I have a crush on Yoko Ono" or "I have a crush of Mr. Dressup". Is it I, or they have another way of saying everything? As a columnist with a lot of family in my generation, they pass news and fads on to me, and they’re not the normal news around the neighbourhood! My advice: Use some common English so we can understand this! Knock some common sense into yourself once in a while!
